First sight
First of all - thank you very much for those who came to say good bye to the airport - it really means a lot to me. I'm quite surprised that I managed not to cry... I was really sad to leave...
So here it is - my first day in Ghana:) Honestly cannot still believe it and it all feels like just one more dream you are going to wake up from. But I guess I won't, right?;)
Cannot think of what to tell you... It's different, really is, but that's why I chose Ghana.
Some things that I find hard (for now):
- it's hot;
- I don't understand sometimes when native people speak English, feel a bit stupid at those times:)
Some things that I find really cool:
- people are very easy going and friendly
- I like that it's so different, like you would see in the movies - lot's of small shops like "kioskas", cars driving like crazy, women carrying stuff on their heads, loud music at night and everybody's chilled:)
I know this post is very random, but that's a bit how I feel right now. My african friends said in the morning "are you still in Europe?":) I guess I am - I still don't understand that this is it - this is my home for the rest of the year...

Dalia, you are so lucky to be there and I am so happy for you! Take as much as you can and live the time in Ghana full speed, cause this is one of those things in life you'll never forget.

visu pirma, ka tik perskaiciau viska, ka esi surasiusi siame puslapyje. zinai, kodel tu sakai, kad tu nusprendei buti "not normal". o kas yra normalu? baigti mokslus, sukurti seima, karjera, vaikai? mano nuomone, tai priklauso nuo poziurio. kitam normalu yra keliauti i tolimus krastus ir dirbti ten :) man normalu isteketi uz skirtingos tautybes, skirtingos religijos zmogaus, isvaziuoti porai metui i kita pasaulio krasta, grizti po dveju metu ir viska pradeti nuo pradziu: mokslus, karjera, kuomet visi mano draugai jau visa tai pasieke. tiesa pasakius, niekas nera normalus, nes atsiras vienas zmogus, kuris, nesvarbu, ka bedarytum, kaip besielgtum, manys, kad elgiesi kvailai. o ar tai turi rupeti? ne. svarbiausia, kaip pati jautiesi..tavo gyvenimas, tavo sprendimai. zodziu, gal as cia ir per rimtai, bet norejau pasakyti, kad nesvarbu, kur tu esi - ganoje, jav, turkijoj, lietuvoj - as visad tave palaikysiu, nes labai tave myliu:)
