Now all my family (according to some - half of Lithuania) have been to Ghana and seen what's it like here. And I'm extreemely happy that they liked Ghana and are not worried about me staying here anymore:) My mom would prefer they'd cover the gutters, but other than that it seems pretty ok:D Short report of what we saw:
- Aburi botanical garden
- Kumasi
- Kintampo waterfalls
- Mole with the elephants, monkeys and wild pigs (the ones that look like Pumba from the Lion king;))
- Goldmines
- Beach time
- tried to see Elmina and Kakum unsuccessfully:(
- Wli falls and Akosombo damb

This is the highest waterfall in West Africa. A very peaceful and nice place... with a lot of butterflies:)

This time we were much more lucky with the elephant watching:) we saw PLENTY!!!

One of the highlights of the trip - a trip to gold mines. Yup, under the ground... long way under the ground:) I thought it would be more scary, but it was actually fun. And do i have to tell you that it all didn't go as planned, so we spent under the ground much longer than expected, because we couldn't go up. Then our guide wanted us to walk for a couple of hours in total darkness till the surface. Thankfully he reconsidered after 15 minutes. So we took the car (the mines are big enough for the big cars to drive in). Quite an experience;)

hi dalia!
it sure does feel great to share one's international experience and life with the whole family, doesn't it?!
cheers to expanding the world view of not only ourselves, but getting others into it, too! ; )
hugs from estonia, back again!
