I'm a penguin:)

I just took one of those "not very serious, but fun" tests and guess what?

What animal would best suit your personality?

A PENGUIN.

You are the penguin. You take life in its stride, not letting the big issues of the world stand in your way. You like spending time with large groups of friends and you are considered a bit of a socialite jumping back and forth between different groups of friends. However, you still have time for your family and remain close to them.

I guess we've got it right with my current MC team to call ourselves "Mad penguins";)

Small moments of glory...

Finally it's official, it was announced last tuesday - I am elected:)

The fun part is that Vincent (my new president:)) added our emails and I received quite many letters saying "Welcome to Africa!". It really surprised me. Somehow I thought that nobody would write...

But there was one special letter. One guy wrote me from Uganda:) (Uganda was a place I also applied for) And he wrote me congratulations for my elections and that he thinks it's still a loss for Uganda:D It's so nice to feel appreciated...

On the other hand - those letters show quite much of belief. I'm not sure it will be easy to meet those expectations...

Not yet the beginning...

My African experience hasn't begun yet. I still have more than two months to go in Lithuania, lot's of business to take care of, still lot's of work to do (especially in AIESEC as always:)). But I figured it's not only the journey that counts, I'm expriencing many things while preparing as well. This I'd like to share...

Reasons. Quite many people don't understand my choice. I'm supposed to finish my studies, start a carreer, prepare to start a family etc. etc. to say shortly - "start a normal life". But I feel quite proud of myself that I dared to do it my way:) But I cannot explain normally why Africa and why Ghana:) I just know it's something I have to experience... perhaps before the normal life;)

And I've been telling everybody that I will go to Africa. It's actually a very powerfull tool if you want to stay on track of your dreams;) There were quite a couple of times when I thought I'll not go anywhere - choose "the normal life" which is really easier:) But I had to explain this not only to myself, but to my friends as well. And I didn't want to do that:D

Ok. I'm blabing too much. It's my first blog entrance, so you can't expect much, but I promise to improve:D
